You know, when you eat something really good but really fattening? This is not what this podcast is like. Today, Adrian and Ramon talk about embracing the struggle; because it brings satisfaction. So go get some where there is some to be got; in the fields of The Lord.

Scripture Matthew 5:6

Christ already conquered the world for you and me, how delicious is that? Throughout our lives we see who God is and sometimes we become selective in what we want to believe about God. But if we choose who we want Jesus to be, rather than accept who He is; we make ourselves God in our own minds. Which means we make ourselves the designers of our own morality and reality. This is why lent is so helpful for us; it brings us back to focus.

It's Lent and this is our attempt to remain liturgically relevant while doing what we want to do and talking about what we want to talk about. Here the dudes talk about being hungry for the right things and how goods that have become disordered can lead us to fool ourselves into doing more harm than good; with good intentions. It is the thought that counts, but don't let it count against you. Stay sharp.

In this podcast, we speak with Bear about what it means for men to venture out into the deep adventure that is living out our manhood as God intended.

Now, before we release our special wrap up episode with World Champion Tandem Surfer, Pilot, Scuba Diver, Skydiver, NINJA Black Belt, Catholic, Dad, and host of the nationally broadcast Deep Adventure radio show - Bear Woznick... before we do that, we must finish the series.

In this episode, we talk about being more. Rooting mediocrity out of our lives and stepping up our game are how we become the men God has created us to be. And it is in being who we are based on doing the previously mentioned as right as we can, that we teach the next generation of warriors how to be more when life gives us less comfort and more struggle. We are not meant for comfort, we are meant for greatness, for sanctity. So get after it!

If you're the average man, asking you to do more may seem offensive. But then again, average doesn't listen to this podcast. So measure yourself by the saints and realize there is always room for growth in your own life, like in the life of the white belts in Catholicism doing this podcast.

Our Scripture comes from Proverbs 16:9

We make reference to our guest for our wrap up episode... can't wait to tell you next week.

We also shout out Fr. Mike Schmitz - Listen to this linked episode, it will break your heart if your heart is one that is after The Lord. https://bulldogcatholic.org/02-10-19-disqualified-unfit/

Stay sharp.

Have less, do more, be more. In this episode, we lay out a plan to root out mediocrity out of our lives. Here's the plan:

Write - How you fail God and how you fail others.
Be - Who God created you to be.
Stand - Up for what you believe in.
Attack! - The mediocrity with a proper sense of justice developed through prayer and habitual acts that give to each their due, in love.

Our Scripture comes from Proverbs 16:9 "The human heart plans the way, but The Lord directs the steps."

Stay Sharp.

Today we have the insta and twitter-famous Fr. Tim Grumbach joining us with a conversation I could not bring myself to cut short. We go on a few tangents here (just to be fair), but we felt cutting them off would do everyone a disservice. So get ready for a longer podcast, but well worth your time. So pour yourself a glass and get ready to be enlightened by someone Ramon and I want to grow up to be like someday. Be blessed and stay sharp.

In this installment of the podcast, we say the stuff about the things. So hit play and get into the conversation.

In this episode, the dudes talk about another way we attack the gates of hell (Matthew 16:18) and that is to stand up for what is right, for what we believe in, for the beloved whom we aim to take to heaven. We also break format and have a special guest who shares a little of her family's experience at the LA Archdiocesan Pro Life March - One Life LA, among other thoughts about standing up for the faith and what men need to do to better stand for the beloved.
